Have yourself a vegan Valentine!
This time last year, we never would have thought that the world would have unravelled as it has – and definitely wouldn’t have thought that we’d still be here in February 2021. But thankfully for us, not even a pandemic can stop the romance of Valentine’s Day! Planning this day to be just right might feel like a lot of pressure sometimes, so we’re here to help.

We’ve compiled a list of vegan-friendly restaurants that you can choose from. With restaurants currently closed, all the restaurants below have options for takeaways. In these strange times it is always a good idea to confirm the opening hours with the restaurant the day before. Sadly a number of great restaurants have closed their doors for good, and Valentine’s Day is a great day to show the restaurants left some much needed love.

1. Order a vegan cheeseburger from Funky Fresh Foods – Oslo

A plant-based restaurant with a yummy vegan menu, you can order home delivery using Wolt Delivery. On top of their restaurant menu options, they also have a delicious deli selection that’s full of yummy vegan options like cococrunch and chia pudding.

2. Have a romantic evening with Naomi Restaurant and Bar – Bergen

This Ethiopian restaurant offers several vegan friendly options. Order one of the vegan options with injera and light some candles for a romantic evening in. It’s a great and affordable option.

3. Order falafels from Falafel and Juice – Oslo

Falafel and juice is one of those 100% vegan restaurants that doesn't just attract vegans, but everyone else too! Order your falafels the way you like it for home delivery using Foodora and you can stay home, relax and cuddle up. They have a great selection of delicious juices too!

4. Try Habitat’s vegan menu – Trondheim

Handcrafted pizza right in the heart of Trondheim. Their plant-based menu is nirvana! It includes pizzas, kebabs, soups and more. It is pretty easy to turn the non-vegan pizzas vegan too. My mouth is watering as I’m typing this! They offer takeaways using Foodora. And if you looking to do an early date, they have great lunch menus.

5. Have a perfect date night with Vaquera Verde – Oslo

If you’re in the mood for Mexican food, then Vaquera Verde is a great treat! This organic restaurant serves authentic Mexican food that you will want to keep going back for. They have a set menu for one and two. Perfect for a date night. I love their mushroom quesadillas. Their menu is available to order for takeout through Wolt Delivery.

6. Slurp up some delicious noodles from Noodle Noodle - Stavanger

Are you a noodle lover? This Asian restaurant is sure to impress your date! The restaurant is located in one of the pedestrian shopping areas of Stavanger and offers several vegan friendly options. You can find their menu on their website and order for home delivery using Wolt Delivery.
